Job summary

MaxSoft is seeking an IT Support professional to join our team on the Gold Coast. The role covers desktop, infrastructure and end-user support across Windows environments and Microsoft 365, with opportunities to work across cloud and networking areas.

You will troubleshoot devices, manage AD and security, and contribute to knowledge base documentation while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in desktop support/service desk/IT support.
• Experience with Windows desktop OS and Microsoft 365.
• Strong Active Directory, Group Policy and user administration.
• Experience with Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi‑Fi).
• Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems and ITIL-like processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop, infrastructure and end-user support across Windows environments.
• Support Microsoft 365 apps and services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint).
• Assist across networking and cloud technologies including Azure.
• Troubleshoot hardware and peripheral issues.
• Document procedures and maintain asset registers.
• Create and maintain knowledge base articles.
• Follow ITIL-aligned support processes.
