Job summary

Planit is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to deliver high-quality EUC and desktop support across multiple client sites in Brisbane, Queensland. The role emphasizes practical troubleshooting, strong communication, and a customer-focused approach to daily IT needs.

You will work in a fast-paced support environment, available to start ASAP and capable of onsite work three days per week. Travel between sites and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in EUC, Desktop Support, or similar hands-on roles involving incident troubleshooting and timely resolution.
• Strong knowledge of Windows environments.
• Experience building and imaging hardware, with technical knowledge of laptop devices.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune and SCCM.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN) and ability to diagnose connectivity issues.
• Printer troubleshooting experience.
• Experience working with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices.

You will be a practical, customer-focused IT professional with strong troubleshooting skills and experience working in fast-paced support environments. Approachability, good written and verbal communication skills are a must for this role.

You will bring:
