Job summary

Team Global Express Pty Ltd is seeking a Freight Operations Coordinator for our Arundel depot on the Gold Coast. This fixed-term role runs Monday to Friday until the end of February 2027, involved in hands-on, customer-facing tasks to support daily freight hub operations.

The role moves between depot floor and office, assisting customers with freight collections, damaged freight inquiries and related requests while handling small parcels, coordinating activities and ensuring accurate processing

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, administration, freight coordination or transport operations.
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with customers, drivers and internal teams.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on depot environment, including moving between office and floor and handling small parcels.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when completing administrative tasks and documentation.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with freight collections, enquiries and damaged freight matters, providing a helpful and professional service.
• Support the movement and handling of small parcels across the depot, including locating, sorting and preparing freight for collection.
• Liaise with customers, drivers and depot staff to coordinate freight movements and resolve day-to-day issues.
• Prepare and manage freight manifests, ensuring consignments are accurately recorded and allocated.
• Complete data entry, freight documentation and general administrative tasks.
• Conduct driver debriefs, process returned paperwork and follow up on discrepancies.
• Carry out freight and documentation audits to maintain operational accuracy and compliance.
• Provide flexible, hands-on support across both the depot floor and administration functions as required.
