Job summary

The French Exit in Brisbane is seeking a skilled Demi Chef to join our kitchen team, delivering refined French bistro dishes with consistency and care.

You will work closely with the Sous Chef and kitchen team, maintaining mise en place, supporting service during busy periods, and bringing a collaborative, positive attitude to the kitchen. Casual availability across a rotating roster, 9:00am–midnight, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as a Demi Chef in a quality-driven kitchen.
• Confidently prepare and plate dishes to a high standard.
• Strong technical skills in structured kitchen systems.
• Excellent understanding of mise en place, section organisation and food safety.
• Ability to perform under pressure with attention to detail.
• Collaborative, positive attitude and passion for professional kitchen team.
• Casual availability across a rotating roster, with shifts 9:00am–midnight, including evenings & weekends.
