Job summary

GHD is seeking a Defence Environment Market Leader in Australia to drive the growth of environmental services across Defence programs. You will lead strategic opportunities, connect senior stakeholders with technical capability, and shape pursuits to deliver sustainable outcomes.

With 15+ years in environmental consulting and Defence experience, you will influence senior clients, collaborate across regions and manage risks while ensuring high-quality environmental services aligned with Defence

Qualifications

Requires 15+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related major project environments with Defence sector exposure.
Strong knowledge of Defence market policies, processes and ways of working.
Proven track record in senior client engagement, winning work and converting opportunities into growth.

Responsibilities

Lead growth of GHD’s environmental offering within Defence, shaping opportunities and strengthening client relationships.
Provide environmental leadership across Defence pursuits and programs, coordinating capability from across GHD.
Build trusted senior client relationships and translate Defence priorities into opportunities for environmental services.
Collaborate with Defence, Environment and regional leaders to connect capabilities nationally and maintain a robust pipeline.
Bring a strong commercial mindset to pursuits and delivery, balancing client outcomes, technical excellence and risk.
