GHD is seeking an experienced Defence Environment Market Leader - Australia to grow the environmental offering within Defence and connect capability across the country. You will drive senior client engagement, shape opportunities and lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver sustainable outcomes for Defence programs.
With 15+ years in environmental consulting or Defence environments, you will influence senior clients, manage risk and collaborate with regional leaders to build a resilient pipeline
Qualifications
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field with 15+ years in environmental consulting or Defence projects.
- Proven track record leading environmental teams on major Defence pursuits.
- Strong senior client engagement and opportunity shaping experience.
- Established credibility with Defence sector stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Willingness to travel up to 1 week per month and operate across Australia.
Responsibilities
- Lead growth of environmental offerings within Defence, shaping opportunities.
- Provide environmental leadership across Defence pursuits and programs.
- Build trusted client relationships and translate Defence needs into opportunities.
- Collaborate with Defence and regional leaders to connect capability nationally.
- Balance client outcomes with technical excellence and risk management.
