GHD’s National Defence Team seeks an experienced Defence Environment Delivery Leader to oversee environmental services and deliverables across Australia and the Pacific. You will provide technical leadership, coordinate a national team and ensure consistency, efficiency and quality in defence environmental work.

You will bring 10+ years in environmental/project environments, strong communication, and commercial acumen, with the ability to engage clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Formación

• Proven leadership capability with experience managing geographically dispersed teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong commercial acumen with ability to identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Experience delivering Defence environmental projects and knowledge of Defence policies is preferred.
• Ability to obtain AGSVA Baseline clearance with Negative Vetting 1 preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Providing national leadership across Defence environmental delivery, driving consistency, efficiency, resource capability needs and quality across services and deliverables.
• Leading, coaching and developing a geographically dispersed team, creating a connected and high-performing national environment.
• Supporting Defence projects with environmental and contractual advice, bringing together the right technical expertise and capability from across GHD.
• Leveraging business and digital systems to strengthen project delivery, governance, financial performance, quality management and planning.
• Promoting a strong culture of safety and wellbeing while applying sound commercial judgement to proactively manage project risks and opportunities.
