Job summary

Victaulic Australia PTY LTD in Sydney is seeking a Data Centre OEM Specialist to lead growth in the data centre sector, influence specifications, build key relationships with owners, consultants and contractors, and drive early engagement with stakeholders.

You will collaborate with engineering and sales teams, stay current on design trends and sustainability, and travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field.
• Experience in business development or technical sales within the data centre, mechanical, HVAC, construction, or engineering sector.
• Must have data center owner groups contacts.
• Proven success in specification influence, strategic account development, and complex sales cycles.
• Experience with mission‑critical infrastructure, chilled water systems, mechanical piping, EPC delivery models, or data centre design is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess the data centre market within the region to prioritise key accounts and high‑value projects.
• Build and execute a targeted business plan to expand Victaulic’s influence through specification work.
• Identify emerging data centre project activity through research and industry intelligence.
• Influence owner standards and design preferences to drive early adoption of Victaulic solutions.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally and coordinate handoffs with engineering and sales teams.
• Maintain deep knowledge of design trends, competitor strategies, and sustainability requirements.
• Develop industry relationships and represent Victaulic through events and client engagement.
