Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a Data Centre OEM Specialist in Sydney to lead strategic growth in the data centre sector. You will influence specifications, identify new developments, and build relationships with owners, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.

The role requires a mechanical/Electrical/CM background, proven BD or technical sales experience in the data centre space, and existing owner contacts. Travel may be required; Victaulic offers a strong bonus system and career development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field.
• Experience in business development or technical sales within data centre, mechanical, HVAC, construction, or engineering sectors.
• Must have data center owner groups contacts.
• Willingness to travel overnight for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.

Responsibilities

• Assess the data centre market within the region to prioritise key accounts and growth opportunities.
• Build and execute targeted plans to expand Victaulic’s influence via specification work.
• Identify emerging data centre project activity through research and industry intel.
• Influence owner standards and consultant specs to drive early adoption of Victaulic solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally, capture project data in Salesforce, and coordinate handoffs.
