Coates is hiring a Customer Support Officer – Platinum at our Belmont head office. You will be the first point of contact for tier-one customers and major projects, translating enquiries into practical, solution-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, sales support or a similar fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong problem-solving ability and a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and changing customer demands.
• High level of attention to detail, resilience and personal accountability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• CRM experience is highly advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Responding to customer enquiries via phone, delivering exceptional customer service every time.
• Providing customers with product and service information via email and web enquiries.
• Sourcing equipment through our branch network to meet customer requirements.
• Preparing quotes, hire schedules, invoices and purchase orders.
• Coordinating equipment deliveries, transfers, pick-ups, repairs, changeovers and breakdowns.
• Building strong customer relationships and providing proactive, solution-focused support.
