Job summary

City of Ryde is seeking a Customer Service Officer for the Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre. You will be the first point of contact, handling phone, email and front desk enquiries, processing forms, and manning point of sale transactions.

A friendly, efficient communicator with a focus on delivering outstanding service will thrive in this fast-paced team. The role supports swim school administration, enforces safety rules, and contributes to a welcoming facility.

Qualifications

• High School Certificate or equivalent.
• Experience handling telephone, email and face-to-face inquiries.
• Experience cash handling and using PC-based technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patrons at Ryde Aquatic Leisure Centre.
• Handle inquiries, memberships, bookings, program registrations and payments.
• Assist with swim school enrolments and administration.
• Enforce safety regulations and rules to maintain a secure environment.
• Address patron concerns or complaints promptly and escalate when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of retail shop, reception and other areas.
