Greater Dandenong City Council is seeking a casual Customer Service professional to be the first point of contact across multiple channels, including phone, in person, and online interactions. You will support customers across sites, with shifts offered across locations and at short notice.

The role requires outstanding communication, empathy, and the ability to adapt quickly in a diverse community. A flexible, energetic and detail‑oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service principles with clear communication.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to shifting requirements.
• Fluency in a second language relevant to the community is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact across telephone, face-to-face and online channels.
• Provide flexible support during periods of increased demand, planned or unplanned leave.
• Work across Council locations and respond to short-notice shifts.
