Job summary

CommBank is seeking a Customer Banking Specialist Relief to join our Corrigin Hub and support branches across Corrigin, Kondinin, Narembeen and Merredin. This full-time role requires you to cover a predetermined roster and deliver outstanding service across everyday banking needs.

In this role you will build relationships, promote digital banking options, process applications for loans and cards, and refer complex matters to specialists, always prioritising customers' needs and security.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset and ability to build rapport
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with Branch Manager and colleagues
• Comfort with referring customers to specialists when needed

Responsibilities

• Build a personal connection with customers through meaningful conversations
• Assist customers with in-branch technology and digital banking options
• Address customers' transactional needs and ensure satisfaction on departure
• Process applications for personal loans, credit cards and related products
• Adhere to bank processes, reconcile transactions, and review customers' financial positions
• Engage with customers through community events and fundraising activities
• Support team safety and wellbeing, and capture feedback for service improvements
