Job summary

Commonwealth Bank in Perth is building a talent pool for Customer Banking Specialist roles across our Northern Perth branch network. Roles include full-time and part-time opportunities with rosters between 15 and 38 hours per week, aimed at delivering outstanding customer experiences in-branch and via digital channels.

In this role you’ll work with branch staff to understand customer needs, refer complex cases to specialists, and promote financial health through conversations and service

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Build a personal connection with customers through meaningful conversations.
• Assist customers with in-branch technology and digital banking options.
• Respond to customers’ transactional needs to ensure satisfaction.
• Complete Financial Health Checks to assess financial needs.
• Process applications for personal loans, credit cards and related products.
• Proactively contact customers to invite them for a Health Check or appointment with a specialist.
• Adhere to bank processes, accurately reconciling transactions and reviewing customer positions.
• Engage with customers at community events and fundraising activities.
• Monitor safety and wellbeing of the team.
• Capture customer feedback and drive service improvements.
