• Minimum 3 years leadership experience in credit control.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong knowledge of Australian credit law.

We are looking for an experienced Credit Control Manager to lead our team of credit controllers & collections officers. You will be responsible for driving collections performance and reducing overdue debt, leading a team in a multifaceted, dynamic workplace.

Key responsibilities

Manage, mentor and develop a team of Credit Controllers

Oversee debt collection, negotiate payment plans and manage write-offs with a focus on cash collection and conversion

Serve as the escalation point for complex queries

Track aged debt reports and portfolios

Review and update the credit & collections workflows to guarantee peak cash flow efficiency

Track and monitor the daily, weekly and quarterly targets ensuring the team are hitting their goals and performance targets

About you

Minimum 3 years experience in a leadership role, with a background in hands-on Credit Control position

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability and confidence to negotiate and handle challenging conversations

Strong working knowledge of Australian credit law and partnering with external recovery parties

Experience in a subscription model business highly advantageous
