Job summary

Corrective Services NSW seeks a dedicated Teacher to plan, deliver and evaluate LLND education across North, South, West and Metro regions. The role supports the internal education service provider and contributes to reducing re-offending while enhancing community safety.

Essential qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Graduate Diploma in Education and a current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, with a valid NSW driver’s licence for travel to centres.

Qualifications

• LLND and adult learning principles applicable to General Education and Training.
• Graduate education qualifications with content teaching eligibility.
• Current NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel to various centres.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain LLND classes using OIMS; allocate learners as needed.
• Invite eligible learners to participate in AEVTI LLND programs.
• Conduct pre-enrolment proficiency reviews to tailor education programs.
• Enrol learners into appropriate education programs following processes.
• Deliver classes and assessments contextualised to learners’ needs.
• Develop lesson plans and resources for accredited courses and trainings.
• Participate in course evaluation, validation and moderation of assessments.
