Zusammenfassung

NSW Department of Communities and Justice is seeking a Correctional Education Officer to deliver LLND programs across NSW regions, supporting inmate education and progression. You will plan, deliver and evaluate courses aligned with accredited qualifications, and ensure compliance with policy, procedures and standards.

Offshore and on-site collaboration with AEVTI will be essential. The role focuses on building LLND classes, enrolling learners, and maintaining accurate records while contributing

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or Graduate Diploma in Education with teaching qualification in LLND
• Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) with relevant employment experience
• Driver’s licence and willingness to travel across NSW centres

Aufgaben

• Build and maintain LLND classes using OIMS
• Select and invite eligible learners to participate in AEVTI LLND programs
• Enrol learners into education programs and conduct contextualised classes and assessments
• Develop lesson plans and teaching resources meeting accredited course requirements
• Coordinate LLND programs access for inmates; manage enrolment and progress records
• Provide reports on learning progress and assist in offender case management
