APD Global is looking for an organised office administrator to be the heart of our Parramatta office. You’ll greet visitors, manage reception and handle general admin tasks with a friendly, proactive approach.
This full-time, office-based role supports engineering and project teams by coordinating supplies, bookings, onboarding and calendar management, while liaising with building management and suppliers in a fast-paced environment.
Love keeping things running smoothly? Come be the heart of our office.
APD Global is an engineering and tech company with 25+ years under our belt, helping power the energy revolution. We work on big projects across energy, utilities, telecoms, rail and transport, in Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and Europe.
Our Parramatta office is growing, and we need someone who keeps everything ticking: the first friendly face people see, and the person the whole team relies on.
No two days are the same. You'll:
Run reception: greet visitors, answer calls and make everyone feel welcome
Keep track of our gear, including IT equipment, phones, supplies and company cards
Get quotes, compare options and sort out purchases
Stay on top of shared inboxes and calendars
Book travel for the team, both here and overseas
Plan catering, meetings, workshops and team events (yes, the fun stuff)
Help new starters settle in
Work with building management, cleaners and suppliers
Support our projects with tracking, reporting and filing
Help keep the workplace safe
Make sure the kitchen never runs out of coffee
Have 2+ years in admin, office coordination, customer service or similar
Are organised, detail-focused and good at juggling priorities
Communicate clearly and get along with everyone
Know your way around Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
Like working independently and spotting what needs doing before anyone asks
Hold a valid Australian driver's licence
Experience in engineering or project-based businesses is a bonus.
A friendly, supportive team
A modern office in the heart of Parramatta, close to transport, shops and food
Proper onboarding and training
Room to grow in an international company
A front-row seat to major infrastructure projects
This is a full-time, office-based role. You'll need Australian working rights and to complete pre-employment screening, including a drug and alcohol test. We're an equal opportunity employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
