Job summary

3D Recruitment has been engaged by an established commercial construction business to find a Project & Accounts Administrator to join their team. This varied role sits between Operations, Project Teams and Finance, ideal for someone who enjoys accounts and project administration in a fast-paced construction environment.

The role offers $60 per hour plus Super for a 3-day-per-week temporary cover with a view to a permanent position, and involves supporting project delivery, financial

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounts administration or project administration.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing and reconciliations.
• High attention to detail with strong organisational and document management skills.
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office, SharePoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review project contracts to initiate and manage bank guarantees.
• Manage and reconcile vendor accounts, including Bunnings and Officeworks.
• Track and process labour and project costs in financial software with project teams.
• Prepare and submit monthly progress claims, customer invoices and statutory declarations.
• Prepare retention releases and Deeds of Release for subcontractors.
• Act as the primary liaison between the business and the Finance team and vendors.
