Meli is seeking a Community Hub Support Officer in Geelong, Victoria, to help create welcoming, safe spaces for visitors, hirers and community groups. You’ll be on-site during events and busy booking periods, assisting with setup, crowd flow and after-hours support.

In this casual role, you’ll respond calmly to on-site issues, promote respectful hub use, and contribute to a positive community experience across Poa Banyul and Yirrama hubs.

Formación

• Experience in customer service or venue operations with public interaction.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Physically capable tasks such as setting up and packing down rooms.

Responsabilidades

• Create a welcoming experience for community members and hirers using Meli’s Community Hubs.
• Support smooth and successful events and bookings by keeping spaces organised, accessible and ready for use.
• Respond to on-site issues with confidence, escalating safety, maintenance or security concerns when required.
• Promote safe and respectful use of the hubs so everyone can enjoy a positive community experience.
