Job summary

The Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority is recruiting a casual Caravan Park Attendant for Kennett River & Wye River Caravan Parks. You will join a hands-on team delivering welcoming, safe and well-maintained experiences for visitors.

Responsibilities include customer service, bookings, check-ins/outs, grounds maintenance, cleaning of cabins and facilities, minor maintenance, and site presentation. A current Australian Driver Licence is required; RMS experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, tourism, retail or similar environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A practical, hands-on approach to grounds, cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• A proactive attitude and commitment to providing a great visitor experience.
• Experience using RMS booking software (desirable).
• Experience with safe manual handling practices and chemical use (desirable).
• A current Australian Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Assist guests with bookings, enquiries and check-ins/check-outs.
• Respond to customer questions and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain park grounds through mowing, gardening, pruning, weeding and general upkeep.
• Clean and present cabins, amenities, communal facilities and public spaces to a high standard.
• Undertake minor maintenance and handyman tasks to support park operations.
• Assist with waste management, stock handling and general site presentation.
• Follow safe work practices and contribute to a safe environment for visitors and colleagues.
