Job summary

UnitingCare Children, Young People and Families is seeking a part-time Retail Supervisor in Proserpine to lead Lifeline’s charity retail store. You will drive sales, coach volunteers, and deliver outstanding customer service while promoting Lifeline’s mission in the local community.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail management or hospitality with retail exposure.
• Coaching and mentoring people.
• Ability to deliver high level customer service and exceed expectations.
• Willingness to learn store roles including customer service, merchandising, online marketing and stock control.
• Create an inclusive, safe work environment that attracts and retains staff and volunteers.
• Ability to communicate promotional events to maximise results.
• Identify trends and opportunities from customer feedback.
• Set priorities to meet daily deadlines and develop short-term plans.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate passion for Lifeline and promote its service to the community.
• Manage all aspects of a retail operation and delegate tasks to ensure targets are met.
• Work with staff and volunteers on pricing, merchandising and events to maintain profitability.
