Job summary

Profectus is seeking experienced Change Managers to support the delivery of organisational change within an Australian Government agency. You will plan change, prepare people for new processes and technology, and report on adoption and benefits.

Hybrid working arrangements in Canberra, ACT; must be an Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain Negative Vetting Level 1 clearance. Experience with PRINCE2 or Agile delivery and ICT change programs is essential.

Qualifications

Job description

Profectus is seeking experienced Change Managers to support the delivery of organisational change within an agency of the Australian Government. The work covers change and communication planning, stakeholder engagement, training and readiness activity across ICT enabled change initiatives. You will work with business areas and project teams to plan change, prepare people for new processes and technology, and report on adoption and benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and deliver change initiatives in collaboration with business and project stakeholders
• Develop and implement change management strategies and plans covering communications, training, stakeholder engagement and impact analysis
• Design and deliver communications approaches that support lasting adoption
• Develop and deliver training to affected stakeholders
• Review project plans and identify the change activity required for successful delivery
• Complete change readiness assessments and present findings to business units
• Prepare risk treatment plans to address business risks and concerns
• Monitor and report on business readiness, adoption, benefits realisation and use of change initiatives
• Identify performance gaps and put corrective actions in place
• Support business units to carry out change activity through a range of channels
• Deliver communications through digital adoption software solutions
• Provide mentoring, coaching and training to build capability across teams
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records in line with agency governance requirements

Required Experience

• Demonstrated experience developing change and communication management plans for projects and other change initiatives
• Experience defining, developing and communicating the change management approach for a significant organisational change
• Experience in an organisational change management role working within a PRINCE2 or Agile delivery environment
• Proven delivery of organisational change management in an ICT environment
• Formal qualifications in organisational change management from a recognised tertiary institution, or equivalent demonstrated skills and experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities
• Demonstrated problem solving, flexibility and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to initiate, plan and lead large change initiatives and deliver to time and quality standards
• Experience delivering change within Australian Government or other large, highly governed organisations
• Experience with digital adoption platforms and other change enablement tools
• Experience working across concurrent projects within a program or portfolio
• Experience mentoring and developing change capability in others

Security Clearance Requirements

• Must be an Australian Citizen
• Must hold or be able to obtain a Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance
