Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning Rockhampton is seeking a Casual Educator to join our vibrant team. You’ll support the education program, engage with children, and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment across our Centres as needed.

Flexibility is essential: casual shifts between 6.30am and 6.30pm, Mon-Fri, with above-award wages and leave loading. You’ll need Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood and a current Working with Children Check.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood or ACECQA approved equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
• Current Queensland Working with Children Check.
• Willing to travel between local services and flexible availability Monday–Friday 6.30am–6.30pm.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to the education program in the room and centre team.
• Engage with and supervise children at all times.
• Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Comply with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
• Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.

Pay: $ 40.93 - $46.10 per hour

You’ll need:

• Certificate IIIor Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
