Goodstart Riverside Gardens in Townsville, QLD is seeking a Casual Educator. You will support the education program, supervise children, and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment across casual shifts from 6am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, with Wednesdays required.

The role offers above-award casual wages, a leave loading allowance, and opportunities for professional development within a supportive team. ACECQA qualification and WWCC are essential.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved early childhood qualification required.
• Current QLD Working with Children Check.
• Willingness to travel between local services and provide flexible availability Monday–Friday, 6am–6pm.

Responsabilités

• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team.
• Engaging and supervising the children at all times.
• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
• Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.

Pay: $42.88 - $48.29 per hr
