Job summary

Goodstart Mount Isa is seeking a Casual Educator to join our team in Mount Isa, QLD. You’ll support centres and children, with shifts Monday to Friday between early hours and evenings, and a pay range of $42.88 to $48.29 per hour plus superannuation and benefits.

The casual position offers flexible hours, alignment with Goodstart’s inclusive culture, and opportunities for training and development. You’ll contribute to safe, enriching learning experiences for children.

Qualifications

• Certificate III - Children's Services or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and centre team.
• Engaging and supervising the children at all times.
• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
• Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.
