Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning is seeking a Casual Educator for Caloundra and surrounds. You will support multiple centres with flexible shifts, above award pay, and casual loading, helping maintain safe, inclusive learning environments for children.

Join a team committed to quality early education and reconciliation, with opportunities to work across local services and gain centre-based support and training.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved early childhood qualification.
• Current QLD Working with Children Check.
• Willing to travel between local services and flexible availability Monday–Friday, 6am–6pm.

Responsibilities

• Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team.
• Engaging and supervising the children at all times.
• Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
• Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement.

You'll have a home base centre for additional support and can work at one or several of our local centres. It's up to you! You'll be the first to know about permanent opportunities or stay as a regular casual if that works best for you.
