Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning Townsville is seeking a Casual Educator to join our team across our centres. This casual role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work across sites.

You will support the educational program, supervise children, maintain a safe environment, and build strong relationships with families. ACECQA qualifications and a current Working with Children Check are required.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved early childhood qualification and a current Working with Children Check are required.
• Ability to travel between local services and work across multiple centres.
• Flexible availability between Monday–Friday, 6:30am–6pm.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to the education program in the room and centre team.
• Engage and supervise the children at all times.
• Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with children and families.
• Comply with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies.
• Support reflective practice and continuous improvement.
