Job summary

EML is welcoming applications for Case Managers to join our NSW Police team in Sydney. This full-time permanent role involves managing workers’ compensation claims, collaborating with injured workers, employers, and external stakeholders to facilitate safe return-to-work outcomes, with a focus on both physical and psychological injuries.

After probation, there is flexibility to work from home with a choice between monthly rostered days off or a 9-day fortnight, supporting better work-life

Qualifications

• Take responsibility of a full portfolio of workers' compensation claims, focusing on physical and psychological injuries.
• Build and maintain relationships with injured workers, employers and external stakeholders to support return to work.
• Collaborate with Technical & Injury Management Specialists to plan return-to-work journeys.
• Provide world-class customer service and develop rapport with each client.
• Be proactive, self-motivated and think creatively when engaging with stakeholders.
• Experience negotiating and influencing positive outcomes.
• Enjoy working collaboratively within a supportive team.
• Handle challenging conversations with empathy.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility of a full portfolio of workers' compensation claims, with a focus on physical and psychological injuries.
• Work together and maintain relationships with injured workers, their employer at NSW Police Force and several external stakeholders to help the injured worker back to work as quickly and safely as possible.
• Work with our Technical & Injury Management Specialists to develop and implement a plan to assist the injured workers’ in their return to work journey.
