Job summary

Contour Education in Melbourne is seeking an Assistant Campus Leader for our CBD campus. You’ll lead the campus during your shift, ensuring the team, the floor, and the pace align with Contour standards while safeguarding every student.

You’ll be the first contact for Campus Experience Coordinators, resolving issues live and supporting the Campus Leader. This role is a stepping stone to running a campus of your own, with mentorship and real responsibility from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role (education, retail, hospitality or similar).
• Experience as a shift lead, supervisor or senior team member on the floor.
• Calm under pressure with sound judgement and decision making.
• Clear, warm communication with students, parents, tutors and teammates.
• Attention to detail in operations and safety checks.
• Availability across weeknights and weekends when classes run.
• Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Shift leadership: Run your shift end to end, from the team to the floor to the pace of the day.
• Student safety: Complete safety checks every shift, act on anything needing immediate attention, know when to elevate.
• CEC support: Be the first point of call for CECs on your shift and reinforce coaching.
• Student and parent experience: Handle walk-ins, trials, reschedules and everyday moments where families decide whether they trust us.
• Classes, rosters and resources: Fix in-shift class and roster issues as they happen and have materials ready before each class.
• Campus standards: Keep the campus clean, organised and class-ready.
