Lox in a Box in Sydney is seeking an Assistant Manager to work with the Venue Manager, run the floor day to day, and step up to lead when they are off.

You will coach the team, maintain service and coffee standards, handle rostering, cash handling and end-of-day reporting, and help drive wages targets while keeping our generous hospitality warm and fun.

Daytime hours with evenings free, staff meals on shift, and clear pathways into future venue management.

Formación

• 2+ years' supervisory or assistant manager experience in a busy cafe or restaurant.
• Strong barista skills are a bonus.
• A calm, positive leader who brings people with them.
• Organised, reliable and comfortable with numbers (sales, labour, stock).
• Availability across weekdays and weekends.
• Food Safety Supervisor certificate and RSA highly regarded.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Lox in a Box is a Sydney deli and cafe group serving house-cured salmon, hand-rolled bagels and really good coffee across Bondi, Coogee, Marrickville and Paddington. About the role

As Assistant Manager you'll work alongside the Venue Manager to run the floor day to day and step up to lead the venue when they're off. You'll be on the floor most of your shift, setting the pace and the standard.
