Job summary

The Carrington, a Sydney venue from House Made Hospitality, is seeking an Assistant Venue Manager to support the Venue Manager in day-to-day operations on the floor, delivering exceptional service and a positive guest experience.

You will lead service standards, assist with recruitment and onboarding, coach the team, manage rostering, and help maintain compliance and guest-centric culture across evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Leadership or senior supervisory experience in a pub-style venue.
• Strong service skills and calmness under pressure.
• Confident communicator and natural team motivator.
• Solid understanding of labour, operations and RSA compliance.
• Availability across evenings and weekends.
• Most importantly, someone who genuinely cares about their team and guests.

About the Role

We’re looking for an Assistant Venue Manager to support the Venue Manager in driving day-to-day operations. This is a hands‑on role, leading from the floor, supporting the team and helping deliver strong service, culture and results.

You will:
