Job summary

Allstar Recruitment Group is seeking a Business Development Executive in Queensland to drive new business and service existing accounts in a technical/engineering environment. The role reports to the Managing Director and collaborates with Senior Management to push growth.

You will be responsible for increasing sales, managing client relationships, and representing the company at events while working toward set revenue targets.

• Proven negotiation abilities and client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales by developing new client relationships.
• Account manage existing client base.
• Contact dormant customers to reactivate them.
• Represent the company at tradeshows and networking events.
• Conduct market research activities.
• Take calls from enquiries and promote the product range.
• Maintain comprehensive contacts and client details in the CRM.
• Monitor and report sales progress through to delivery.
• Achieve the budget and revenue targets.
• Prepare/present financial and sales reports to Senior Management.
• Work toward sales and revenue-based targets.

Our Australian owned client offers engineered products across a wide range of industries and is looking to appoint a Business Development Executive to further increase sales by developing new business relationships and servicing existing accounts. Reporting to the Managing Director, this newly created position will play a vital role in driving the business forward and will work closely with Senior Management team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Increase sales by developing new client relationships
• Account manage existing client base
• Contact dormant customers to reactivate them

• Maintain and keep comprehensive contacts and client details in the CRM database
• Monitor and advise customers of every sale and its progress through to delivery
• Achieve the budget as set out
• Any such other duty as may be assigned from time to time
• Prepare/present financial and sales reports to Senior Management
• Working to sales and revenue based targets

• Business development/sales experience within a technical/Engineering environment
• Proven experience in account management and relationship building
• Proven negotiation skills

• Confident with client meetings

• Ability to prioritise own workload to plan own working week
• Current WA driving licence
