Integral Diagnostics (IDX Group) is seeking a Booking Agent in Geelong to be the first point of contact for patients in our Booking Centre. You will handle inbound calls, manage bookings, and provide information on pre-visit requirements in a supportive, patient-focused environment. Based in Geelong, this permanent full-time role offers office hours, Friday-to-Mri?

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a call centre environment.

About The Role

Located in our Booking Centre in Geelong, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients. If you enjoy working in a lively inbound call centre environment, this is the perfect role for you!

You’ll use your superstar customer service skills to manage appointment enquiries and bookings. Ideally, you’ll have experience in the medical or radiology field, but if you’re passionate about the health industry, we want to hear from you!

About The Responsibilities

As a Booking Agent, you will:

• Take inbound calls and determine the required service
• Handle bookings and enquiries efficiently
• Notify patients of pre-visit requirements
• Liaise with technical and support staff
• Quote fees and Medicare rebate amounts
• Book appointments at the relevant site
• Assist with other tasks as needed

About You

• Excellent communication & phone skills – articulate, empathetic, and a good listener
• Previous customer service or high-volume call centre experience
• Confident using computers and quick to learn new systems
• A proactive attitude to training and development
• Health/medical reception experience (highly regarded)
• RIS/PACS systems experience (also highly regarded)
