Job summary

Lake Imaging in Geelong seeks a Booking Agent to be the first point of contact for patients in a lively inbound call centre. You will manage appointment enquiries and bookings, notify patients of pre-visit requirements, and liaise with staff across sites in a values-driven medical imaging team.

Ideal candidates have health/medical reception experience or RIS/PACS familiarity, and a proactive approach to training and development. Permanent full-time, with Monday–Friday hours, are offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, empathetic listener with strong phone skills.
• Previous customer service or high-volume call centre experience.
• Confident using computers and quick to learn new systems.
• Proactive attitude to training and development.
• Health/medical reception experience is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Quote fees and Medicare rebate amounts.

Lake Imaging, founded in 2002 , has become the largest radiology provider in central and western Victoria , with more than 19 clinics providing a wide range of diagnostic imaging services to St John of God private hospitals, community-based clinics, and specialty centres in Melbourne, Ballarat, Geelong, and Warrnambool.

Located in our Booking Centre in Geelong, you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients. If you enjoy working in a lively inbound call centre environment, this is the perfect role for you! You’ll use your superstar customer service skills to manage appointment enquiries and bookings. Ideally, you’ll have experience in the medical or radiology field, but if you’re passionate about the health industry, we want to hear from you!
