Job summary

Coogee Beach Doctors in Sydney seeks an Office Manager and Senior Receptionist (2IC) to lead our front desk and support the doctors and management. You’ll be the friendly face patients know and you'll help with rostering, training and workflow.

In this hands-on leadership role you’ll supervise the reception team, manage bookings, handle patient inquiries, assist with billing and general administration, and step in as second in charge when needed. A friendly, long-term fit is valued.

Qualifications

• Reception experience, ideally in a medical setting.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Ability to manage priorities calmly and effectively.
• Clear, confident communication with patients and staff.
• Experience supervising or leading a team is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and supervise the reception team, including rostering, training and day-to-day guidance.
• Be the welcoming face of the practice, delivering warm, professional service to patients in person and over the phone.
• Liaise with contracting doctors to keep appointment books and clinic flow running smoothly.
• Work with management on day-to-day running and act as second in charge when needed.
• Handle patient inquiries with care, tact and confidentiality.
• Keep the front of house organized, efficient and welcoming.
• Assist with billing, appointments and general administration.
