Job summary

ForHealth Group is seeking a Second in Charge (2IC) / Senior Receptionist for our Bondi Medical Centre on a full-time basis. You will support the Practice Manager with daily operations, lead the reception team, and ensure an outstanding patient experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

You will drive operational excellence, help staff development, and maintain high standards of service while coordinating bookings, data entry, and front desk activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Senior Receptionist/2IC or team-lead role in healthcare.
• Strong leadership and ability to support staff development.
• Excellent communication with patients, visitors and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support the Practice Manager with daily clinic operations.
• Lead, mentor, and support the reception team.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and visitors.
• Manage patient bookings, enquiries, and front desk operations.
• Assist with staff scheduling and workflow coordination.
• Open and close the medical centre as required.
• Ensure accurate patient data entry and administration.
• Build positive relationships with patients, practitioners, and colleagues.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist with reporting and general administrative duties.
