Job summary

ForHealth Group is seeking a hands-on Second in Charge (2IC) / Senior Receptionist for our Bondi Medical Centre on a full-time basis. You will lead the reception team, support daily operations, and ensure an exceptional patient experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Working closely with the Practice Manager, you will drive operational excellence, staff development, and high standards of service delivery while maintaining patient data accuracy and a welcoming front desk culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Senior Receptionist, Team Leader, 2IC, or similar position.
• Experience within a medical, healthcare, dental, or allied health environment highly regarded.
• Strong leadership and team support skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask and perform under pressure.
• High attention to detail.
• Proficient computer skills, with Pracsoft or Best Practice experience advantageous.
• Professional presentation and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support the Practice Manager with daily clinic operations.
• Lead, mentor, and support the reception team.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients and visitors.
• Manage patient bookings, enquiries, and front desk operations.
• Assist with staff scheduling and workflow coordination.
• Open and close the medical centre as required.
• Ensure accurate patient data entry and administration.
• Build positive relationships with patients, practitioners, and colleagues.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist with reporting and general administrative duties.
