Job summary

The Trustee for Adhikari Family Trust operates a Bakers Delight franchise in Canterbury, VIC, seeking a skilled Baker for a full-time, permanent role. You will produce breads, rolls, pastries to recipe specs, and work in a busy, high-volume environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, rolls, pastries and filled goods to recipes and yields.
• Knead, mix, mould, shape, proof and process dough per plan.
• Operate ovens and production equipment; adjust times/temps for quality.
• Apply finishing processes such as glazing, decorating and assembling lines.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and equipment cleanliness; HACCP compliant.
• Meet daily production targets and support peak periods.

This is a full-time role for an experienced baker who thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality bakery products.Minimum Qualifications and Experience:• Be qualified in Baking with AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training or AQF Certificate IV or have minimum three years’ experience as a Baker • At least one year experience in high-volume production environments and ability to hand-mould efficiently. • Practical knowledge of food handling, hygiene and safety standards . • Proven ability to work early mornings and flexible rostered hours, including weekends.In this role your main responsibilities include:• Prepare and produce breads, rolls, pastries and filled goods to company recipes and yield specifications. • Knead, mix, mould, shape, proof and process dough and pastry to scheduled production plans. • Operate and monitor production equipment and ovens; adjust baking times and temperatures to ensure quality and consistency. • Apply finishing processes including glazing, decorating and assembling product lines. • Perform stock, inventory and basic quality control checks on raw materials and finished goods. • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and equipment cleanliness; follow HACCP and workplace procedures. • Meet daily production targets and help manage workflow during peak periods. • Assist with basic machine operation, cleaning and routine maintenance of baking equipment. • Emptying, cleaning and greasing baking trays, tins and other cooking equipmentSkills & attributes• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to product quality. • Able to work effectively in a small team and take direction from supervisors. • Reliable, punctual and physically able to manage manual tasks in a production setting. • Positive attitude, ability to stay calm under pressure and to meet productionTo apply for this position, email your resume to .
