Job summary

Bakers Delight is seeking a Qualified Baker to bake and present quality products, coach apprentices, and maintain safe, clean operations across all stations.

You will work early shifts (as early as 12am) across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays, keeping pace in a busy bakery and helping control stock and production costs while following recipes and WHS standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Baking or 2-3 years relevant work experience.
• Be a team player.
• Able to start work early (shifts starting as early as 12am).
• Able to work across weekdays, weekends, and some public holidays.
• Comfortable in a busy production environment.
• Experience with deck ovens and maintaining WHS standards.

Responsibilities

• Bake and present quality product to meet changing customer needs.
• Coach and support the development of Apprentices and Bakers Assistants.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the bakery.
• Assist in stock control and production expenses, following recipes.
• Weigh ingredients according to recipes.
• Mix dough according to defined dough schedule.
• Help on bench with processing dough and ensure smooth production flow.
• Process dough in a timely and efficient manner per schedule.
• Work across all stations: bench, bowl and oven.
