Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, knead, ferment and bake a variety of breads and bakery products.
• Measure and prepare ingredients according to recipes.
• Monitor dough quality throughout production.
• Operate commercial bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure products meet Bakers Delight quality standards.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and safety requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and minimise waste.
• Collaborate with the bakery team to meet daily production needs.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, knead, ferment and bake a variety of breads and bakery products.

Requirements

Applicants should demonstrate:

• Minimum one (1) year of relevant full-time experience as a Baker.
  
• Relevant baking qualification (Certificate III in Baking or equivalent) is highly regarded.
  
• Experience working in a commercial bakery environment.
  
• Strong knowledge of bread production techniques.
  
• Ability to work early morning shifts.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
  
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
