Job summary

The Trustee for Adhikari Family Trust operates a Bakers Delight franchise in Canterbury, VIC, seeking a skilled Baker for a full-time, permanent role. You will produce breads, rolls, pastries to recipe specs, and work in a busy, high-volume environment.

Ideal candidates have AQF Certificate III or IV in Baking or 3+ years as a Baker, plus experience in high-volume production, food safety knowledge, and flexible rosters including weekends. Salary is $80,000–$85,000 plus 12% super.

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate III in Baking with 2+ years on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV.
• At least three years’ experience as a Baker or similar role.
• Knowledge of food handling, hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, rolls, pastries and filled goods to recipes and yields.
• Knead, mix, mould, shape, proof and process dough per plan.
• Operate ovens and production equipment; adjust times/temps for quality.
• Apply finishing processes such as glazing, decorating and assembling lines.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and equipment cleanliness; HACCP compliant.
• Meet daily production targets and support peak periods.
