Job summary

A plus Agency is assisting Bakers Delight Junction Fair with recruiting a full-time Baker for the Hervey Bay location in Queensland. The role offers a competitive salary of AUD 80,000 plus superannuation and long-term career opportunities within Bakers Delight's renowned brand.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of bakery experience, a relevant baking qualification, and the ability to work early morning shifts in a busy commercial bakery environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of full-time baking experience.
• Certificate III in Baking or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, knead, ferment and bake a variety of breads and bakery products.
• Measure and prepare ingredients in accordance with production recipes.
• Monitor dough quality throughout the production process.
• Operate commercial bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all products meet Bakers Delight quality standards.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and minimise product waste.
• Work collaboratively with the bakery team to meet daily production requirements.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining bakery equipment and work areas.

Requirements
Applicants should demonstrate:

• Minimum one (1) year of relevant full-time experience as a Baker.
  
• Relevant baking qualification (Certificate III in Baking or equivalent) is highly regarded.
  
• Experience working in a commercial bakery environment.
  
• Strong knowledge of bread production techniques.
  
• Ability to work early morning shifts.
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
  
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
