Job summary

A Plus Agency is assisting Bakers Delight Maryborough in recruiting a full-time Baker. Based in Maryborough, QLD, you will produce high-quality artisan breads and bakery products while upholding Bakers Delight’s standards of quality and safety.

We are seeking an experienced baker with a strong work ethic, able to work early morning shifts and in a team-focused environment. This permanent role offers career opportunities within a nationally recognised bakery brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of full-time experience as a Baker.
• Relevant baking qualification (Certificate III in Baking or equivalent) is highly regarded.
• Experience in a commercial bakery environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, knead, ferment and bake a variety of breads and bakery products.
• Measure and prepare ingredients in accordance with production recipes.
• Monitor dough quality throughout the production process.
• Operate commercial bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure all products meet Bakers Delight quality standards.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Monitor stock levels and minimise product waste.
• Work collaboratively with the bakery team to meet daily production requirements.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining bakery equipment and work areas.
