Job summary

Mygration Pty Ltd's client, a beloved artisan bakery in Darra, QLD, is seeking an experienced Baker to craft artisanal breads, pastries, and desserts, using traditional techniques and premium ingredients.

You will manage dough, fermentation, and baking, ensuring quality control and proper equipment handling. Early mornings, weekends, and holidays are required, with 1–2 years of bakery experience and a Certificate III in Baking.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ full-time Baker experience in artisanal or commercial bakery setting.
• Certificate III in Baking or higher.
• Willingness to work early mornings, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Production & Baking: prepare, mix, knead, shape dough and bake artisanal products.
• Quality Control & Preparation: inspect ingredients, test product quality, adjust techniques as needed.
• Equipment & Workspace Maintenance: clean and maintain baking trays and machinery, ensure safety.
