GMP Recruitment is supporting a Leading Business Services client in Sydney seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager. You will hunt and secure new business, respond to enquiries, and grow a national customer base with a focus on long-term relationships.

The role offers a strong base with open-ended commission, plus a fully maintained company car, mobile phone and laptop, in a brand-recognised environment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of proactively hunting and securing new business opportunities.
• 2+ years' experience in B2B sales with demonstrated success in generating leads and growing revenue.
• Strong prospecting skills including cold calling, identifying new markets and engaging potential customers.
• Ability to convert leads into customers and develop long-term, profitable business relationships.
• Customer-focused approach with the confidence to engage decision-makers and influence outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customers and proactively manage and grow the customer base.
• Respond quickly and effectively to enquiries and convert opportunities into results.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
