Job summary

The Hassett Group is seeking a commercially minded Business Development Manager to drive growth across Queensland from Brisbane to the Gold Coast. You will focus on new business acquisition with childcare operators, developers and industry partners, while nurturing existing relationships and expanding fit-out, furniture and educational offerings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development and B2B sales.
• Track record building sales pipelines and closing deals.
• Experience in childcare, education, furniture or fit-out sectors is preferred.
• Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement.
• Willingness to travel throughout Queensland.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business development and customer acquisition across Queensland.
• Identify and engage childcare operators, developers, architects, designers and key industry stakeholders.
• Build and manage a sales pipeline through prospecting and outreach.
• Develop and grow existing customer relationships for additional products and services.
• Present tailored childcare furniture, educational resources, refurbishment and fit-out solutions.
• Manage the sales process from discovery to proposals, negotiations and closing.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful customer outcomes.
• Maintain CRM records, forecasts and territory plans to achieve revenue targets.
