Job summary

Groundworks Australia Pty Ltd in Queensland seeks a hands-on Business Development Manager to develop new and existing client relationships and convert opportunities into secured work. The role covers South East Queensland with occasional travel to support projects.

You will collaborate with marketing, estimating and operations, manage the sales pipeline in Zoho CRM, and present tailored solutions to commercial decision-makers.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years' B2B sales experience.
Proven ability to build and maintain commercial relationships.
Strong face-to-face communication and presentation skills.
Experience using a CRM and managing a sales pipeline.
Willingness to travel occasionally when required.

Responsibilities

Develop relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Follow up and convert marketing-generated leads.
Identify new clients, projects and sales opportunities.
Conduct regular face-to-face client meetings and site visits.
Promote Groundworks services and match solutions to client needs.
Work with estimating to develop proposals and pricing.
Follow up quotes and opportunities through to outcome.
Maintain an accurate, active pipeline in Zoho CRM.
Ensure secured projects are handed over effectively to Operations.
Maintain client relationships to support repeat business.
