Job summary

Bluemont Pty Ltd seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to cover New South Wales and Australia-wide markets. You will drive growth by building relationships with councils, engineering firms, design consultants, civil contractors and mining companies, managing complex, long sales cycles.

This field-based role offers autonomy, high earning potential, and a technical product suite that protects infrastructure and communities.

Qualifications

• Experienced Sales BDM with background in civil, construction, mining, water infrastructure, environmental products or similar complex B2B sales.
• Proven ability to run long, relationship-driven sales cycles.
• Self-motivated and highly accountable you perform without close supervision.
• Comfortable engaging at a technical level with engineers, project managers and design consultants.
• Willing to travel regularly across Australia (this is a field-based role).
• Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of Rock Bags and Mobile Flood Barriers.
• Build long-term relationships with councils, water authorities, engineering firms, design consultants and mining companies.
• Manage complex sales cycles from early engagement through to project delivery.
• Conduct site visits, technical discussions and product demonstrations.
• Own your forecasting, pipeline and territory planning.
• Represent Bluemont at industry events and field days.
