Job summary

Bluemont Pty Ltd in Australia is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead growth across South Australia and nationwide. You will own the territory, build relationships with councils, engineering firms and mining companies, and convert opportunities into revenue. You’ll manage long, complex sales cycles, conduct site visits and product demonstrations, and forecast and plan your pipeline. Travel across Australia is required.

Qualifications

• Background in civil, construction, mining, water infrastructure, environmental products or similar complex B2B sales.
• Proven ability to run long, relationship-driven sales cycles.
• Self-motivated and highly accountable; capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable engaging with engineers, project managers and design consultants.
• Willing to travel regularly across Australia; field-based role.
• Valid driver’s licence.

• Drive sales of Rock Bags and Mobile Flood Barriers.

Business Development Manager | South Australia & Australia Wide

We’ve got a large and growing pipeline of opportunities across Australia and currently not enough sales coverage to service them. This is a genuine high-upside opportunity for an experienced Sales BDM. The work is already there. The relationships are waiting to be built. The only missing piece is the right person to own it and convert it. We’re looking for a mature, self-motivated BDM who thrives on complex, technical, relationship-driven sales cycles and is comfortable working closely with councils, engineering firms, design consultants, civil contractors and mining companies.
